If you plan on or already sell any Electronic items on eBay there's a very easy way to increase your profits.

If you've ever paid attention A LOT of Electronic products sold on eBay are refurbished. Some scream it out in the title, some in the description while others bury it at the bottom of the listing hoping no one will notice.

While I don't think you should hide the fact the product is refurbished, it really depends on what you're selling and what your perfect customer wants.

For example, let's say you want to sell a lot of 10 refurbished laptops. It is probably best to say it straight away the things refurbished because people who are interested most likely want to resell the item either locally or on eBay and this is something they would be Searching for in the first place.

So if your title was "10 Dell Refurbished Laptops" your listing would appear more when people are searching for refurbished laptops, who would be more inclined to buy, since that's what they are looking for.

On the other hand, if you had one specific Laptop model you're going to get a heck of a lot more auction views if you had a title like "Dell xps m1530 Laptop NR" or something similar.

Now you're going to capture the people searching for the model numbers which are extremely targeted. This will get you a lot more views.

When selling refurbished products I HIGHLY recommend you have a section in your description that says (and not in size 1 font, something people can read)...

"This Item Is Refurbished"

And go on to explain what a refurbished item is and why it saves the person money. Also List a retail price in the description so you can show how much the person is saving on a brand new one.

Remember, refurbished products consist of everything from simply having the box opened and item returned (usually referred to as Open Box but these get stuck in with refurbished items), slight appearance defects and other small anomalies.

But remember a factory refurbished item is inspected by the original manufacterer to ensure it meets original manufacturing specifications.
